European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM)
The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) was created in 1985 by the merging of two nuclear medicine societies in Europe. Its members are physicians, scientists, technologists or other persons working in Nuclear Medicine or related fields. Since 2001 the EANM has an Executive Secretariat in Vienna, which takes care of the day-to-day operations of the Association under the governance of the Executive Committee. In 2003 the scope of EANM activities was expanded by creating an EANM educational facility in Vienna, which meanwhile offers courses on Clinical PET, Technologists PET courses, Neuroimaging courses and Therapy/Dosimetry courses.
